Classic Pot Roast

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 pounds boneless beef chuck roast
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 2 medium potatoes, cubed
  • 2 cups carrots, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Put vegetables in bottom of slow cooker.
  2. Salt and pepper meat, then place in slow cooker on top of vegetables.
  3. Mix flour and Worcestershire sauce in beef broth. Add to slow cooker.
  4. Cover and cook on HIGH 5-6 hours.
